At Oben Technology, we are committed to respecting and promoting internationally recognized human rights in all aspects of our operations, in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), the International Bill of Human Rights, and the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We also support the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which reinforce our responsibility to respect and uphold human rights throughout our value chain.

The purpose of this policy is to formalize our commitment to human rights and provide a clear framework guiding how Oben Technology embeds respect for human rights into our culture, governance, operations, and business relationships. This policy applies globally to all employees, directors, officers, contractors, suppliers, partners, and any other entities acting on behalf of Oben Technology.

Oben is committed to upholding human rights for everyone we impact, including employees, suppliers, contractors, and customers. We prohibit involuntary labor, harassment, discrimination, violence, retaliation, or any prejudice across our company and supply chain. Employees receive annual training on Oben’s Ethics & Integrity Policy to ensure ethical, honest, and legal business practices. We also strive to create an inclusive environment globally, fostering dignity and respect for all. We conduct ongoing human rights due diligence to identify, assess, and address risks and impacts connected to our activities, products, and services. This includes:

Business Relationships

We expect our business partners, suppliers, and contractors to uphold similar human rights standards through our Supplier Code of Conduct and contractual commitments. We assess and monitor our supply chain for compliance with human rights principles.

Training and Awareness

We provide training and resources to employees, managers, and key partners to raise awareness and ensure understanding of human rights responsibilities and expectations.

Reporting Mechanisms and Remediation

Concerns regarding the Human Rights or related inquiries can be directed to management at transparency [@] oben.technology. Information related to concerns will be shared only with individuals who require it for addressing questions or conducting investigations and determining any necessary remediation actions. The HR Manager (HRM) is responsible for administration of this policy. The HRM provides support to employees and responds to questions relating to Human Rights, policies, regulations, and legal compliance. Oben’s Whistleblowing Policy outlines how the company handles reports of possible misconduct and details employee rights to raise concerns in accordance with applicable law.
